The object, gewand, is an interactive gadget, attempting to assist when trying to comprehend how people experience the public realm of certain areas in Berlin.

Gewand is a German word defined as; dress, garment, clothes, clothing, whilst only the end of the word, ”wand”, refers to; partition, barrier, dividing wall.

The object plays with the lingual notion that a piece of clothing can be understood as a partition between the body and the

physical world, as much as a barrier or deciding wall could be understood as a garment.

The object is still occupying the streets of Berlin, exact whereabouts are however uncertain. Keep an eye out!
